The GETEA Executive Committee and Conference Planning Team would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 2019 GETEA Annual Conference January 25th - 26th, 2019 at the Effingham College and Career Academy located in the suburbs of the beautiful Savannah, Georgia. The Theme this year is "Transforming the Future of Engineering." The conference planning committee chose this theme because Georgia innovators like yourself have been working hard to brand this state as a hub for innovation and engineering initiatives. In order for us to keep a robust economy, we must band together to continue to "lead in a technical world," and that means preparing for the workforce of today for the unknown advancements in engineering and technology that will lead to the new jobs of tomorrow. At the conference, interest sessions will be organized around the High School Pathway Standards and the Middle School Course Standards along with some general interest sessions applicable to all strands. We plan to offer interest sessions in each strand throughout the conference, allowing you to maximize your conference experience.
