The 2021 Community Leadership Retreat
The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that we will host its biennial “Effingham County Community Leadership Retreat” on Monday, October 25, and Tuesday, October 26, at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel at 371 Riverview Drive, Jekyll Island, GA.

We are working on the agenda for this important event now and welcome any input and suggestions you might have. A final agenda will be sent to all registered attendees prior to the event.
Obviously, COVID-19 continues to be a major concern and we will take all appropriate precautions to keep our guests safe. Please be aware that masks and social distancing may be required, and the retreat could be postponed if necessary
Registration is $210 per person payable to “Effingham County Chamber of Commerce” and must be received no later than October 1. This fee includes most of the meals during the event. Monday morning breakfast is not included. Spouses are welcome to register and participate. A meals-only option is also available for spouses at $140 per person.
The Chamber has secured discounted hotel room rates under “Effingham Community Leadership Retreat” at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel on Sunday, October 24 and Monday, October 25 at a starting cost of $159 per night (plus resort fee and applicable taxes). There are only a limited number of rooms available at that rate before the rate increases so be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible. The deadline to reserve a room under the Chamber discounted rate is September 24.
