    Event Description:
    Join us in Springfield for the annual Springfield Metric Century presented by the Springfield Revitalization Corporation and Bike Effingham!

    Starting and ending at the Springfield Living History Site, the Springfield Metric Century Ride is a metric century and half-metric century bike ride that takes you through the historic and scenic back roads of Effingham County. This event is coordinated in partnership with the Effingham Day Festival and all riders receive a lunch voucher for FREE food at the event.

    Rest stops are provided along the route and the volunteers from the Effingham Fire Dept offer SAG support throughout the route. This year's ride is co-hosted by the Springfield Revitalization Corp. and Bike Effingham. All profits are used to enhance downtown Springfield through beautification projects.

    Registration will be online and day off. Each pre-registered rider will receive ride SWAG and be entered into the drawing from some awesome door prizes. Custom race day shirts can be ordered at registration or purchased on ride day. Day-of registration will begin at 7:15 am the morning of the race. SWAG items will be limited, and will be available first come first serve to those registering day of.
     

    Registration and Checkin will begin at 7:00 and end at 7:45am 

    Ride begins at 8:00am

    Parking will be available in the parking lot next to registration, and staging will be held in this parking lot. 

    Day of Registrations will be $40. Please bring cash or check, no credit cards please. 

    There are 2 courses: 50km (37miles) and 100km (65 miles)

    SAG support will be provided until 12:00pm.

    Note that the ride will continue rain or shine, no refunds will be given.
