    Event Description:
    The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ?State of the County Breakfast? on Tuesday, April 26 at 8:30am in the Guyton Community Center, 505 Magnolia Street in Guyton. Join us for a panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Effingham and its residents. There will also be a recap of the 2022 legislative session by our state delegation: House Majority Leader Jon Burns, State Representative Bill Hitchens, and State Senator Billy Hickman.
     
    We?ve invited each municipality to present an overview of the state of their city or the county, followed by a panel discussion, with questions and answers and dialogue among the leaders. Panelists from Effingham Schools and Effingham Health System have been invited as well. Our goal is to encourage more constructive dialog among the participants and the audience. Questions will be screened by the chamber's Government Affairs Chair, Kimberly Iler.
