Three Nominated for Seats on Effingham Chamber Board
The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce's Nominating Committee has named three candidates for seats on the Board of Directors. The nominees will replace directors rotating off the board.
The nominees are:
- Tre Wilkins is a Project Manager in Thomas & Hutton’s Savannah Civil Department, and a former employee of the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority. He previously has served on the Effingham Chamber Board until a new job required him to step down. Wilkins is a graduate of the Leadership Effingham Class of 2002 and Leadership Southeast Georgia’s 2022 Class.
- Ashley Boyette, State Farm agent in Rincon, a longtime chamber member is very involved in the community including the Effingham County Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity, and Effingham Women in Business.
- Glen Montgomery, CEO and co-founder of RepowerIT in Guyton, is a graduate of the Leadership Effingham Class of 2018. He serves as chair of the Business Gifts team for the Effingham Health System Foundation and on the CTAE Advisory Committee with Effingham College & Career Academy, RepowerIT is an active supporter of the community, sponsoring local athletic programs, and various nonprofit organizations.
The nominees' three-year terms begin July 1. They will replace James Carlson of Carlson & Co., Swann Seiler of Georgia Power, and Ryan Thompson of Thomas & Hutton, who will rotate off the board at that time.
