    Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator
     
    Summary of the position:
     
    Serve as primary point of contact for prospective college students and manage all aspects of the admissions process.
     
    As an enrollment coordinator, you play a vital role on the frontlines of the academy student recruiting and admissions. You handle every stage of enrollment management and admissions counseling from being the point of contact for prospective students to screening applicants. Beyond that, you also assist with all aspects of education planning, including student financial aid. You’re also responsible for outreach and marketing initiatives like coordinating college tours and orientations.
     
    Job Duties:
     
    • Provide administrative support including document filing, book-keeping, and faxing during the admission process.
    • Assist in student admission processes based on state and federal laws.
    • Explain the school policies and enrolment process to the students and their families.
    • Provide assistance to students in completing admission forms and other related paperwork.
    • Provide assistance for tuition fee collection.
    • Review the new student lists with the Academy Director and Finance personnel.
    • Schedule student appointments and interviews for admission process.
    • Collaborate with team members to complete and validate the admission files of students.
    • Implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the enrolment objectives.
    • Organize educational presentations as per the direction of the Academy Director.
    • Plan and organize admission related events and activities.
    • Address student queries and complaints in timely fashion.
    • Schedule admission and recruitment programs.
    • Maintain a student admissions database with clear and complete student enrolment files.
    • Maintain a cordial relationship with the management, students, instructors and administrative teams for smooth operations.
    • Coordinate with marketing communications team for preparing or updating admission materials, college publications and web sites.
     
     
    Minimum Qualifications:
     
    • Excellent customer service skills are essential to interact with students by phone, email, or in-person in a friendly and professional manner. 
    • Strong communication and presentation skills are also important since you’ll be communicating with prospective students of diverse backgrounds and needs. 
    • The ability to multi-task and solve problems effectively are beneficial skills, since you need to help students navigate all the complexities of the admissions process.
    • You should also be comfortable with document and data management since it is your job to input and track all of the data related to the admissions process.
    • Computer and database literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint for digital presentations).
