12th annual Creative Writing Challenge
2022 Theme: KINDNESS
GUIDELINES:
? You must hove parental permission to enter.
? Challenge open to students in Chatham, Effingham or Liberty County public, private and home school students ore encouraged to enter.
CREATION:
? Work will be judged on creativity and con focus on any aspect of the theme. All poetry styles allowed!
? Poems should be no more than 20 lines.
? Typed entries ore recommended.
SUBMISSION:
Entry deadline: February l lth
Submit one copy of your poem via online form (liveoakpl.org/leopolds) or physical submission at any Live Oak Public Libraries.
Entries must include: student's name, teacher's name, home address, age, school, grade, email address, and a parent/guardian name and phone number.
Competition Grades:
? K-2
? 3-5
? 6-8
? High School
Division winners receive:
1st: Leopold's Ice Cream Party
2nd: Leopold's Ice Cream Gift Card / Certificate

The International School of Story will have its first Teatime Stories Gathering in Effingham County, Thursday January 20, at 10:00am at The Cottage at Moncrief Square in Springfield, GA. It will be a sweet time of inspiration to lift the soul, get a dose of hope and leave with renewed courage and strength for each day.
Pastor Valarie Jenkins Grimes will share her story with us how God made what seemed impossible to forgive possible. We will have a cup of tea with yums provided by Amy Collins Shippy.
