2023 Taste of Effingham Participant Agreement

The Effingham Chamber of Commerce will host A Taste of Effingham on Friday, March 24, 2023, across from Ulmer Park (Crawford and N. Pine Streets) in downtown Springfield from 6:00–8:00 PM. This letter will serve as an agreement that the undersigned restaurant/caterer/food provider would like to participate in the event and provide food to event ticket holders at no cost to the Chamber or to attendees. It is understood that the Chamber will charge an admission fee to the public and will provide tables, skirting, and electricity and water to participants. The Chamber will work to promote the event heavily throughout Effingham County and the surrounding area. All participating businesses will be acknowledged in event promotions.
Each food provider should plan to provide enough food for 250 people. Common practice is for each booth to provide a single item that best represents what you serve. It might be BBQ, shrimp and grits, fajitas, egg rolls, or chicken. This is an opportunity to acquaint prospective customers with your cuisine. The Chamber will make arrangements to provide beverages. Participants should furnish their own serving pieces including ladles, serving spoons, spatulas, etc. including warming devices, etc. Each participant is asked to submit the items they plan to serve to the Chamber as soon as possible. We expect between 15 and 20 food participants to be involved.

The food provider listed below agrees to participate in the 2023 Taste of Effingham and to provide information for event promotions in a timely manner. I also agree to set up, serve, and break down my booth area and to leave it clean at the end of the event. I understand there is no charge to my company and will receive no revenue for participating.
