    Event Description:

    The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office, along with the police departments in Guyton, Rincon and Springfield, plus the Georgia State Patrol, Effingham County EMS, Effingham County Fire & Rescue and the Rincon Fire Department, will host the first National Faith & Blue Open House on Sunday starting a 3 p.m.

     The event, featuring lunch from G’Ma’s Express, is a collaborative effort between the faith and law enforcement communities to build bridges and break biases.

    Open house is slated from 3-4:30 p.m. and a prayer for peace will follow at 4:45 p.m.

    There will be activities for kids and a limited supply of goodie bags will be distributed.
