In the heart of Georgia’s Coastal Empire, here in Effingham County the pace is just a little bit slower, the air a little bit sweeter, and the community just a little more like home. Grown from humble, hardworking roots, Effingham County flourishes as one of Georgia’s premiere commercial and residential areas. It’s Georgia’s “hidden treasure,” where style and sophistication meet rich heritage and hometown values.

Located at the Effingham County Industrial Park at Highways 21 and 275 just north of Rincon, the firm will hire over 600 employees when fully operational. EFACEC manufactures electrical transformers and wants to be closer to its north American markets. (Left) EFACEC officials join county, area and state leaders at groundbreaking in September 2008. Ranked as one of the top choices for business and residential environments, Effingham makes quality of life a top consideration where planning and growth are concerned. That’s why you can find everything you need just around the corner yet still have your own quiet place to call home.

Here in Effingham, it’s about more than just living and working in a community. It’s about being part of that community and enjoying your place in it. And when you call Effingham home, you’ll find that’s what you’ll treasure most.
